Useful Sites that do NOT sell plants:

http://www.carnivorousplants.org/
Official Site of the International Carnivorous Plant Society.  Join if you haven't already.

http://www.sarracenia.com/faq.html
Home of the Carnivorous Plant FAQ, under the influence of Barry Meyers-Rice.  He tricked me into thinking there was an Austin Sarracenia Club...that was mean, so tell him he hurt my feelings.

http://www.hpl.hp.com/bot/cp_home
The Carnivorous Plant Database! I visit here often to figure out what I have for sure.

http://www.tbcpc.org/webring/all_sites.phtml
For a complete listing of some good CP sites, here is a link to the CP Web-Ring

http://www.sabot.org/
The San Antonio Botanical Gardens. They do have some Carnivorous Plants, which I took pictures of and stuck here.

http://www.csdl.tamu.edu/FLORA/flynnbog/FB1.HTML
Flynn Bogs, here in Texas! I'm trying to arrange a visit, and get some pictures of my own. It don't think it will happen though, so just go visit this site.

Sites that sell plants & Stuff I DO have experience with:

http://www.amazon.com
An easy place to find CP-literature. I've ordered many books there.

http://www.flytrap.demon.co.uk/index.htm
Cambrian Carnivores. He sells plants & seeds. He helped me get Drosera regia!  Last purchased in January 2000

http://www.petwhse.com/
They don't sell plants, but fish/reptile/pet supplies. This is where I got a few things for my terrariums, including an ultrasonic fogger & Tap Water Purifier.
Last purchase in July 1999

http://www.gublers.com/
Gubler Orchids sells to Home Depot & other garden centers. They are the ones who sell the box of 2" CP's, usually Venus Fly Traps, Nepenthes, Cobra Lilies, and Sundews mixed. I purchased from them in 1999 to fill up my mini-bog outside with VFTs, and add Cobra Lilies to my terrarium.  The plants were smaller than those seen at Home Depot, probably because I purchased them late in the spring.
Last purchase in June 1999

http://www.televar.com/~cooks/
A great guy I met over the List-Serv.   In my opinion, he delivers better Sarracenia plants for the buck.  $4.00 S. flava I received had two 12" pitchers...I was happy.  I have purchased from him twice, and plan on more in the future.
Last purchase in June 1999

http://californiacarnivores.com/
I have purchased from them only twice, and the plants were smaller than I was always hoping for. However, they were shipped quite well, and received in good condition. His selection is very good, and has some nice hard-to-find items at times.  Best thing is The owner's book (Peter D'Amato),Savage Garden , get it!
Last purchase in April 1999

Sites that sell plants & Stuff I have NO experience with:

http://fog.hpl.external.hp.com/bot/cp_read
The Carnivorous Plant Trading Post. I have found a few people with plants I like, but never got responses.

http://www.alternativegarden.com/
If you are looking for lights for indoor growing, go here and check out their products. My Metal Halide is $50 cheaper there! They also sell many other interesting indoor-gardening equipment. If you wish to shop around, do a search for "Hydroponics & Lights" on any search engine, and brace yourself.

http://www.cpjungle.com
The CP-Jungle. I think I will be buying from them next. Look at their selection and prices to find out why.

http://www.dangerousplants.com
Dangerous Plants! by Thomas Hayes and Graig Gardner. I may buy from them if I get a some more money.  They has several things I want.

http://www.wistuba.com/
If I had the money, and the courage to buy overseas, I would buy from this guy. He deals with Nepenthes ALOT.  One day, I will buy the Nepenthes hamata from him (or from a US importer)

de_kanel@email.msn.com
USA (610) 539-9351 John de Kanel Tissue Culture Labs.  They advertise in the CP Newsletter.   I am planning on buying a few things from him, but first I need to improve my terrariums.  If you have any experience with him, tell me!

http://www.dragonagro.com/
Found it from searching the web. Click on "Carnivorous Plants" (At the bottom). Based in New Jersey, USA.

http://www.dingley.net/triffid/
A company in Australia.

http://www.gascogne.com/natureetpaysages/
A French site, I think they sell plants, can't be sure, since it's in French..

Allen Lowrie does not have a web site, but is the authority on Australian CP's. His mailing address is:

Allen Lowrie
6 Glenn Place
Duncraig, 6023
Western Australia
Phone 08-9447-7426
Fax 08-9246-9335

I have his current price (2000) list if anyone wants to look up something, here it is in PDF format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it. (http://www.adobe.com) It's 16 pages and about 800k in size, but it's the best quality you can get other than receiving it directly from him.
