San Antonio Botanical Gardens

I took a quick trip to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens this week, but only had my Digital Camera. I had to do some work downtown, and didn't plan on making the stop.  However, it was a fun, and I got a few pictures.  It doesn't zoom or do closeups very well at all. Next time I go, I'll take my Canon and get some great shots.

Unfortunately, none of the plants were labeled. On top of that, many were out of reach and out of good photography range. When I get more time, I'll go back and get better shots, plus someone there already agreed to lend me a hand in identification and getting closer.

The SABG has a GREAT place to display C.P.s. However, they haven't had the best of luck in the past. Some of the plants I remember seeing months ago are now dead, and others never adapted. I've been talking to the director of the gardens, and he has great interest in continuing growing C.P.s.

Check out their website at http://www.sabot.org/
