The Crystal Gargoyles Freedom Part 1
Synopsis : The Crystal Gargoyle feared the players would want to kill him weeks ago, however it seems they have taken pity on him and wish to help. The Crystal Gargoyle is trapped in the area of his large crystal, and will ask the Royal Guard to find something called a Tuning Fork that can emit sound waves in a manner in which his crystal will crack and he can sever his entrapment to it. Nikademus's RPC will tell the crowd that he has important matters to attend to, and he's sorry he can not assist the Royal Guard - but it is up to THEM to find where the Tuning Fork is! He suggest they start at the Residence of Gregory Ironhand, the lands finest Tinker and Inventor located at Jhelom Felucca, the northwest most island.

I almost called the guards with I saw Filberto walk into my shop today, it's been what feels like just last week that we all heard what he did. However he swears he's clean now, and wanted to talk about a Tuning Fork that was made long ago by the renowned inventor Ironhand. I gave him no information about the Ore needed to manufacture a reliable tuning fork, nor the advice to seek out the Gargoyles in Ilshenar.

Since the land of Malas has been discovered, I can't believe how many new Gemstones have been introduced into the Market. I have seen our prices being forced down the past few months. Why, I am even told some monsters are made of pure crystal there! How can we compete with that?!
There are also very huge large crystals stuck in the ground all over, if only there was a way to shatter those gems and collect all the pieces for the aftermarket - anyone with such a method could be rich beyond their dreams.

Tuning Forks
A tuning fork, by definition, produces a single, pure note that can be used for tuning musical instruments, voicing training or as a calibration standard. A tuning fork that produces "rich overtones" is not a tuning fork, it is a musical instrument.
Iron tuning forks normally produce a resonable pitch without overtones for a short time without maintenace. However, using colored ingots seems to be best as they require less maintenance and can be very precise for many years without so much as a wipe of oil cloth.

Without Coryn, I don't have much desire to do anything else around here. I have been meaning to finish up one project I started without her weeks ago, and that was to build a Tuning Fork for one of the Bardic Guildmasters. I think I'll finish up matters of my estate here, then keep my mind occupied and set out to finish that task.

I am afraid I won't be bringing you some flowers for awhile, I have on last task to finish, and even though I have no motivation to do it, I know it will occupy my mind and keep me busy. I no doubt will be traveling to many tinker shops throughout the lands, and will say hi to our old friends there.
Also lock down maybe something like a Wooden carved flower or whatnot.
We need now to establish what Bard Guildmaster we want to use. I suggest the one in Britian, since some big hotshot needed this. Furthermore we can have fun with the Britian Tunenls!

Not long after I moved to Trammel did I realize that I made the right decision, many people have come to talk to me, do some errrands, and hear my marvelous voice. I am indebted to Gregory Ironhand for crafting the Tuning Fork for me before I moved, and was able to verify my vocals were finely tuned. It sadly wore out and became out of tune soon after I moved here. No matter, I verified my voice was perfect, and there is no real need to find him.
Just in case others missed it, we can lock down the Tuning Fork book again that's found in Ironhands house.

We need something here to show that we are no longer following Ironhands trail - because he disappeared before Trammel, Malas, and Ilshenar. However another Tinker has taken great interest in Ironhands work, and isn't as smart so will have to recreate it all himself. So here we are in this Tinker Store in Britian, and we got this book.

I was over at the Bard's Guildhouse when I saw the famous Gabriel Piete using what I thought could only be a tuning fork to verify his voice was indeed in tune! I have read about them long ago, but none of us ever saw a reason to craft one.
He tells me the famed Gregory Ironhand made it for him long ago, yet has disappared since then. Which is a shame as I noticed the Iron Tuning fork isn't made out of the most durable of ingot and has worn out. I already have looked for Gregory at his residence and found nothing, so I will be visiting all the tinkers throughout the land in hopes to recreate this marvelous little trinket.Felberto the Tinker

He wishes to make another one, however had no real good idea how to do so. Best advice I could give him was to ask the other Tinkers, and to get back to me if he is successful.

We had an interesting visit today in our workshop - Filberto of Britian came with word that our old aquiantance Gregory Ironhand crafted a tuning fork some time ago for the most talented Gabriel Piete. He wishes to make another one, and asked if we could offer any advice. We told him that iron most definately would be a poor choice as it would require high maintenance, but it turned out he already knew. He is so excited about this project, I can't imagine why but wished him luck.

A good friend of mine, Cherim of Papau came by today. It seems he got a visit from my brother Filberto the other day. He's looking to craft a Tuning Fork, just like the one Gabriel Piete owns. I have alerted the courts of Yew in fear that he wants to make one for purposes that led him to go to jail in the first place just a year ago, from which he was released only last month.

Filberto, a Tinker from Britian came by today. It's not often we get visitors from mainland, moreso ones from Britian. He told me about a tuning fork that was created by the inventor Gregory Ironhand. Now, I never heard of one being created, but I have read about them. Seems not only can someone use one to tune an instrument or their voice, but the right type of vibrations from one can shatter glass
I was most interested in helping create one of these, and have informed him that maybe the Gargoyles in Ilshenar know something. And put down a deposit of 500 gold for the diagrams of the device once he crafts one. He assured me he will have no part in a deposit, as if he creates it then he'll have enough gold to keep himself living well. I don't know how that can be possible, but I did save myself 500 gold.

Rumor has reached me that some tinker is trying to craft a Tuning Fork. I still remember Gregory Ironhand was researching such a device so many years ago. I don't know if he ever made one, but if he couldn't figure it out I doubt anyone else can.

I swear, could the Gargoyle have suggested any place worse to mine for shadow ore? I have been running non stop since my arrival, only to hide in the tents to draw away the aggressive gargoyles and mechanical beast I see around.
I have procured enough raw material now to make a tuning fork, however I still lack some information on how to assemble it correctly. I did find some of Ironhands old notes, and must take them to an Artist so that they can draw me precisly what he details in his journals.

An interesting man visited us today, a Filberto of Britian. His clothes were rattered and torn, but he insist he just came from some very dangerous mining area.
He had a notebook written by Gabriel Ironhand, and asked us to draw diagrhams from his chapter on a Tuning Fork, which we were able to within a several hours. He thanked us profusely, and paid us with gold and left.
Now this is a dead end.
Players must think back now to realize he was once in Prison!

I get out of prison soon, and return back to Britian to my old job, if they would still have me. I wish I wasn't such a fool and asked my Brother for some help to pay for my rent, instead of breaking into the Jewelry store late at night. I never thought the glass panels would be so much trouble to break into, and I was such a lousy lockpicker. I still can't believe a thief called the guards on me, I can only assume they dislike competition.
I hope they never found my secret workshop. When I get back home, the first thing I will do is change the password in my house to "Bauble".

It took me forever, but I have succesfully made a tuning fork! I went and showed Gabriel Piete and he verified with me it's just like the one made by Ironhand!
I left to Malas and have collected enough gem fragments so that I can be rich for the rest of my life. However, I don't feel it would be wise for this supierior tuning fork made of shadow iron to fall into the wrong hands - as if any are more wrong than mine.
I will travel to Ilshenar one more time, and constructin the lost city of Montor a method to travel to a secret place to way an area that no man or woman will ever find this Shadow Tuning Fork.
Now the players know to go search the city of Montor for anything out of the ordinary

Simply everyone meet at the castle, and ask folks if they found anything. Perhaps have a fellow EM in the crowd as backup, to come forward and spill answers if nobody figured somethign out in the week. Everyone then goes to visit the Gargoyle to say they think they found a shadow tuning fork, and they will go get it. The Gargoyle states if he hears they did he will show up and get it so that he can release himself.
Nika and company go to Montor and fight there way to the catapult, the invisible wall will be removed and anyone that walks in hits a teleport tile that will shoot them to 1677 877 -24
1772 888 -25 Ilshenar will be a table with the Shadow Warfork. As humor, I say the Fellow EM now can change their name to Felipio and he humors the crowd as now being rich and retired in how own private paradise, and screams when the Gargoyle shows up to take the Tuning Fork.
Now zilo will customze the gem room to show it's all broken up into pieces, the gargoyle has escaped his prison forever.
The event can end here, theres no need to run back to the Cave and see, and the crowd can finally see this shore.
