Lamina - the leaf blade.

Obovate - Opposite of Ovate, with the narrow end at the base 

Ovate - Egg shaped/oval shaped, with the farther end being pointed (see picture below)

Petioles - the leaf stalk.

Scape - the stem that grows up from the plant that flowers appear on; the flower stalk. 

Spathulate - spoon-shaped

Stigma - The female parts of the flower that receives pollen. It's supported by a style.

Style - The plant section that joins the stigma to the plants' ovary.
